Marshall’s Forecast from NBC 4: Warm Temps, Chance of Showers

SATURDAY:  mostly cloudy, chance of scattered showers, high 64.
SATURDAY NIGHT:  mostly overcast, chance of scattered showers, low 42.
SUNDAY:  mostly cloudy, chance of scattered showers, high 60.
MONDAY:  rain and showers, chance of thunder, high 56.
TUESDAY:  showers in the morning, then clearing, high 54.
WEDNESDAY:  partly cloudy, high 59.
THURSDAY:  mostly sunny, high 55.
FRIDAY:  turning cloudy during the day, chance of showers in the evening and overnight, high 59.

A cold front is draped across the upper-Mississippi Valley this morning and will drop into Ohio during the daytime Saturday.  Clouds will thicken in the morning and we’ll throw in a chance for some showers as the front pushes in here.  Thankfully, our temperatures are way above average and that’ll keep the wintry stuff at bay… this will be liquid instead of frozen precip.  The front goes stationary on Sunday so we’re still stuck with a chance for showers.

The main low-pressure center barrels through here on Monday.  It’ll make things fairly windy and we might even get a few, random thunderclaps with the rain.  It’ll taper off on Tuesday morning as the low pulls off toward the east coast.

High pressure arrives for the second half of the work week and makes things cool but pleasant.
